Pretty much all of them.tnf wrote:Which beheading? The hanging beheading? Did that use up all your generic remorse?Foo wrote:You know I just back-to-backed the iraq beheading videos and I'm having difficulty finding any of my usual generic remorse for her passing.
Hey, I hate that her son died so young too.tnf wrote:I would agree in some of her earlier shots...Doombrain wrote:yeah she used to be mint.
It's sad when someone dies regardless. I think the death of Saddam garnered more sympathy from the gang here.
Once she blew up you could never really see her the same, even after she trimmed down with her 'natural' diet solution.
Sad anyway - she may have been a white trash whore, but she had a rough go of it lately with her son dying and whatnot.

I told my mom "old" but she didn't get it...
Oh, I'm not saying a lot of shit wasn't her own fault at all. Of course it was. She was a gold digger with the old man, drug addict (like her son)etc...R00k wrote:Hey, I hate that her son died so young too.tnf wrote:I would agree in some of her earlier shots...Doombrain wrote:yeah she used to be mint.

Yet, I personally can't help but think that a lot of the bad shit that's happened to her has been a direct result of her bad decisions.
And the way she used her name to promote that TrimSpa horseshit was reprehensible IMHO.
It is a shady diet drug that can't be healthy (look at her), and the company has been sued and/or outed multiple times for their shameless business practices. And she was convincing people to use it.
So, had she already blown the loads of cash she got off her decrepit old sugar daddy's death (after fighting his real son for it), and needed the money? Or did she try to foist it on people just because it worked as an exercise replacement for her fat ass? Nevermind it left her looking like she was half dead afterward.
And she's still with this greaseball who's trying to be her lawyer and husband at the same time - even after her son died from some hard-to-explain causes in the Bahamas?
I'm sorry -- I know she's been through a lot of shit lately, and what happened to her son is horrible. But she's such a horrible person from everything that I've seen, that it's hard to have much sympathy.
there should have been disgust with how unprofessional it was, justifiably. But it looked to me like sympathy directly towards Saddam - but its really not a big deal, splitting hairs at the end of the day. Maybe some of the sympathy for Saddam came from people's anger towards the Iraq war as a whole - because the war is a complete clusterfuck he can be forgiven his sins. Anyhow, I wasn't meaning to start a big debate on this (although this isn't one).mjrpes wrote:The thing with Saddam is a lot of that sympathy was a result of the circumstances of his execution. There was no professionalism to the act and that just made the whole thing sad. The guy deserved death, but his execution was sad.
I agree with that completely. I never said she was evil - I was just implying that she was fairly white trash in the beginning, and as far as I know she never really did anything to redeem herself.tnf wrote: Oh, I'm not saying a lot of shit wasn't her own fault at all. Maybe its the teacher side of me, but I don't see the pure evil you mention, I see someone who missed out on a lot of important life learnings early on and when fame hit her, she went for a ride letting the outside influences end up helping to shape who she was. Does she still have culpability? Definitely - she made a LOT of bad decisions. My point was just that despite everyone's laughing about it, calling her this or that (much of it warranted), I still just look at the whole thing and see a depressing, sad ending to a sad life story.
Like I said, it seems like Saddam's death garnered more sympathy.
Is that what's required to generate a bit of sympathy? Just curious.R00k wrote:Maybe she was a great humanitarian and I never heard about it.

Thanks for getting me out of there!
By the way, I'm gonna have to kill you. (pause)
I'll be right back with the traffic and weather together.
Are you saying this is some metaphorical sense? Because if not then you have some seriously distorted views of a woman's physique. Do you think that Lara Flynn Boyle and Calista Flockheart are hot? Got a "Girls of Ethiopia" calendar on your wall?Fender wrote:No she wasn't. She was a fat pig even in playboy.
