Yeah the unit was Law of Obligations but it was 90% Tort.

i find family law especially interesting because its relevant to my situation (ie dads old marriage/divorce/being ripped off in maintenance, etc)

Have you ever studied pre-nuptial agreement? A friend of mine told me his lawyer told him "they aren't worth the paper they're written on". I can't see why it would not be a legally binding contract if constructed in proper accordance with statute and case law, but not having studied family law yet I can't come up with a conclusive answer. Something I've wondered about.

im not getting into family law its just one of the subjects i have to study this year, i dont intend to practice it later on.

Nothing. I gave journalism a go, didn't work out because i ended up celebrating my newfound freedom too much (i was a bit young at the time). Gave communication a go, didn't work out because i found most of the courses goddamn nightmarishly dull (had good grades while it lasted though).

Decided studying is probably not for me.
