That is utterly gay. Why don't they let you save games on USB devices or MS's or something?

$20-30 for 8MB of memory. Please.

That's pretty realistic, I mean in the real world that only gets you, what, 256-512 Mb? Does this mean their 1 Gig stick costs 3 grand?

Two birds with one stone

I am getting a PSP on the 24th and I went into Gamestop Friday and paid 249.95 plus tax, no bundle and no extra for reserving. Now they did say you had to put at least 50 of it down at reserve so I paid the full price. So to Smith and SOAP if you can get to a GameStop you can buy just the PSP in advance

I thought you meant one of these http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?pro ... d=B020248K not the accessories. The accessories are all things I want, the 32MB is not big enough for mives, but it should hold most game saves. On the Gamestop site you can only but the PSP in $400+ bundles, same with EB Games

yep and in a few months.. its going to drop to 150 for a bare system with a charger..

>_<

and mem cards are cheap, headphones, well most of us have nicer ones.. and a case, while nice, isnt worth the extra 100 =P

I dont know, I think DS is pretty sweet especially when considering V-Pocket and Play-Yan/GBA-Movie Player.

I really dont buy too many games, but I really prefer quality over quantity. I never had a GBA so it gives me a chance to look into those a bit too. Games Im interested in for my DS:

Zelda: Minish Cap (GBA)
Zelda: Link to the Past (GBA)
Street Fighter 2 Turbo Reviva (GBA)
All them Mario Games (GBA/DS)
Splinter Cell DS
Advance Wars DS
Katamari Damashii DS
Castlevania DS (as well as the classic ones)
Mario DS
Zelda DS
Viewtiful Joe DS
Xenosaga DS
Mario Kart DS
F-zero Maximum Velocity (GBA)
Virtua Tennis (GBA)
Naruto DS
King of Fighters (GBA)

In all reality that is probably all the games I will buy. I dont care about the new Twisted Metal or some new Tony Hawk game. Also I dont have a PDA or anything and I will be happy to have a portable device for my email. I think PSP will have that as well but really, the touchscreen will make a world of difference there.

I will say this though, if Capcom vs. SNK 2 or Street Fighter 3 comes out for PSP, I will buy that immediately. I was thinking about Darkstalkers on PSP but considering that you cant even use the analog on there and the D-pad is absolute shit, forget that. But CvS or SF3 and Im there regardless of controller issues.

Well I just picked up a copy of Twisted Metal: Head On today, so I guess I better pick up that pre-order on Thursday, or I have a nifty little coaster.

id like to say that i have a DS aswell (i manage a video game store) and reall do quite enjoy the thing, i cant wait to see what Nintendo have in store for it, and there is some very strong third party support coming from the likes of Konami, Square soft, and surprisingly, Namco, who are doing original Xenosaga, Baiten Katos and Katamari games for the system.
