I'm going to say just coverage. The media tends to gang up stories of similar foci if there's one really big story going on of a particular type. People will relate to it more and will be more likely to watch.

Wow. I don't ever remember Rep. caring a flying fuck about social issues. LOL I sense at least a second year of college in this one. :icon26:

You must not remember much about me, then. I was hardcore conspiracy theory crazy way before 9/11... Unlike the rest of the bunch (Cough, Geoff) who suddenly become illuminati experts in 2002, haha.

I miss Art Bell.

I remember you being a lot more goofy, chatty and a lot less serious and down to earth than you are now. Don't let it go to your head but it's kind of refreshing.

And fuck it makes me feel old. :icon26:

Yeah, let me find all the threads about my veganism, exploration in the desert, distrust of authority, and my superiority complex due to being in fact superior.

Edit: These are different times, though. The old people shout about the Cuban Missile Crisis, but I don't believe there was such a steady stream of fear mongering and propaganda from the good guys then as there is now. It's around every corner, and when there are four hundred shows devoted to punditry and they bring politics into issues like SpongeBob Squarepants' sexuality in a clear overture to the right wing psychopaths, I get a little concerned about what is happening to my country.

My country. Through my veins runs red the blood of the people who founded this nation. I am a son of the Revolution, and I will never submit to the idea that my ancestors are not rolling in their graves, aghast of what the so-called America has become. I am more American than the Rupert Murdocks, John Kerrys, and George H.W. Bushes of this country; They owe me an explanation.
