my first experience with them was a suggestion from a friend. i believe the first Slayer track i listened to was "Hell Awaits". i was hooked from then on.

Similar, a friend of mine told me I needed to listen to it. Loved it. Have no idea what it was. Pretty sure it was off of either 'Hell Awiats' or 'Show no Mercy'.
