I liked the trailer until the end when the light reflected off of one of their faces looked a little fucked up because I think it showcases how far CG has come. The motion was odd at times and some of the textures were obvious, but generally I was impressed. The Brando reincarnation howto vid for the new Superman video is impressive as well.

Search on AICN. They took Brando's face, did some cool trickery to map it onto a 3D mesh, and matched up his lips to old sound from the first movie, so that in the new one, it appeared as if he talked through the crystals.

It's such a shame that they went to all that trouble only to distort the hell out of it by placing it inside that crystal
