-Replicant- wrote:and in regards to los' complaint about the players- it brings up a lot of tough choices. you have to pick 3 out of beckham, terry, gerrard, owen, rooney etc. thats tough! same with Cafu, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Dada, Roberto Carlos etc on BRA.
It certainly does - only having three choices screwed with my team in a bit way. I wanted Jamie Carragher in defence along with John Terry, but I couldn't leave out Joe Cole or Steven Gerrard. I also wanted Riquelme, but that meant dropping Philip Cocu or Deco if I wanted to keep my two English players in midfield.

I'll trade you my David Trezeguet for your retired Gabriel Batistuta!

er...how does this work?

soccer is full of uncaptureable "stats".

Forget about the stats. They don't play a role until the tourney starts.

Just pick names that sound familiar. Or look at the player's profile and pick those who scored the most goals.

rooney's too risky IMO. you'd have to waste a transfer on him, and those things are bloody rare (2 per round i think)

If he regains his match fitness then he is well worth the transfer: he may not have the class or experience of players like Larsson, but if he is on form then he can create magic from nothing.

Meh, it's more than likely he won't be back until the first round so I'd advise you to skip the limper :smirk:
