lol...what a fucking scam. Anthony ellis was a guy who won the EAS supplment body makeover deal about 8 or so years ago (there were multiple winners if I remember - he was in an EAS promotional video I had a copy of way back when). When he first posted those makeover pics, it was to show how EAS supplements and Bill Phillips training methods did it for him. Now he's writing his own book...about a 'new secret'.

The girliefriend once calculated my basal metabolic rate (basically, the calories you burn while doing absolutely nothing... i.e. sleeping).

It was 1500. :paranoid: :dork:

It's just a general formula based on body composition, etc. - I think. I don't remember the formula either. I do remember one formula regarding calories that are adequate for bodyweight -

bodyweight x 1.5 = grams of protein
bodyweight x 20 = calories

I don't know how scientific that is, but based on the numbers you get with it I believe it would be adequate to sustain growth.

By food, you mean nutrients? Many factors can change the body's ability to use some vitamins and nutrients. D requires K, too much of one inhibits another, etc.

Yup, with me I find that too many pints of lager inhibits my ability to drink lots of Guinness, same with chips followed by pies.
