Thank you. I recognized him from somewhere but couldn't place it for the life of me when I saw these commercials on TV. All I knew was the dude played a really really bad guy in something I saw.

The Rabbit GTI is the Mk2 and it has a 1.8 16v engine also which
was very VERY quick.
I want that Corrado, i played with the idea of selling my Polo GTi
to fund a G60 or VR6 model of the old Corrado but the insurance
fucked me up the arse :/

Maybe in Euro parlance, but to the US the MkI as you call it was the Rabbit GTI.
