100g an hour is possible, if you exploit and use teleport hacks..

5-15g an hour isnt hard tho.. Tyrs hand is 6-8g an hour just off silver drops..

Haha, I didn't really see anybody directly ask me for proof. My character was herb/alchemy with all the in-game potion recipes. Flasks on my server would sell for 40g+ each and I know how to farm herbs very well.

Alchemy is the best all-around profession to have in the game. Unlike tailoring, leatherworking, blacksmithing, players will always need potions. Enchanting can rival alchemy, but only when there is a limited amount of people on the server with a particular enchant. The hard part about alchemy is getting the recipes and farming the herbs, but if you know how to farm resources and get all the recipes, it's a breeze.

Grinding mobs/instances for gold is for china farmers.

You must have some herb secret nobody else uses.. out of the 7 severs i play on, not a single herb/alch person i know can make 100g an hour..

Selling time DOES count, you dont get 100G an hour if your selling 100Gs worth of flasks in 9 hours..

Grinding, in CERTAIN areas, are insane ways to make money.. think about it, just in Trys hand i net 8g (average) an hour (silver drops not loot) on my MAGE.. think about downtime.. take that and all the greens, patterns, and other drops, theres another 4 or so gold an hour (lowballing just for the sake of it).. why do you think its so farmed out all the time?

Theres other places like that as well, non elites that drop tons of silver and have crazy loot tables.. sometimes ill get lucky and go for an hour and have 3 or 4 nice blue drops that sell for 50-150g each, and sometimes ill come back with 8-15g silver with a bunch of merch fodder..

100G an hour isnt hard to prove, Titans bar can prove that with very little effort.. Reset GPH counter right before gathering first herb, have the tooltip up for GPH after sale and a /played of session time.. not hard..

The worth of a flask isn't going to increase or decrease since the price has been thoroughly established on my server. It isn't going to depreciate if I sell it 4 hours from the time I make it, nor is it going to appreciate.

Furthermore, it doesn't sound like you know shit about making gold in WoW since you are still thinking that farming mobs in certain areas is a good way. 8g an hour plus random greens/blues?? Don't make me laugh. I had 3 other alts with Arcanite Transmutes and making Mooncloth. That's 10g+ profit every 2 days for the Arcanite and 10g every 4 days for the Mooncloth. Plus I could transmute essence of undeath to water and then to air and make 15g+ profit every 2 days on my main character. As far as farming herbs is concerned, there's a methodology to it that's simple. 60 Dreamfoil in an hour? Yeah, no problem. 2 Black Lotus? I have all the spawn points memorized.
