100% YES. The whole point of Lost is that theres just so much visual shit to take in that you will never see, you NEED to watch it again. Thats the best part about Lost, its the fact that even though you watch episode X 3 times, you can watch it again and find something new, be it the "numbers" cropping up in a flashback, a sound, or a quick flash of the islands defense system. You dont see half of it first time.
Well its one of the best series I've seen thats for sure. I missed 99% of them on TV, then bought the DVD series 1 boxset and watched them all in 2 days. I was hooked.
Its more than rich enough for you. Watch the first and second episode, then you can make a call whether you like it. But those two episodes will sway you, I promise. So fucking cool in surround.
there hardly is any music to give you that desolate feeling.
i think the first ep where there was actualyl some music was when they all kinda accepted they were stuck there and made a home for themselves. too bad hurley's battery ran out
I just went to the UK Channel 4 website to see when Season 2 starts in the UK, and i haven't found it yet. But what i did find was a full episode that wasn't aired up for download

All of the music composed for the show specifically is made by using parts of a dismantled airplane.
At least percussion-wise. I'm not sure what they'd do for strings.
Anyways, they talk about it on the boxed set.
Damn you fucking bunch of twatting cunt bags... Now I'm downloading Season 2 because I cnat wait until May... FUCKITY FUCK I DID THIS BEFORE AND DIDN'T SLEEP FOR DAYS... FUCKY FUCKY BANG BANG.

Dan Brown peddles paint. spraypaint. gold paint. in a plastic baggie.
Digital Fortress was fucking retarded as well, only without an addictive aerosol solvent hook.
There are always retards on the internet, I guess it’s because there is no law to restrict them from going online. I checked and I haven’t seen any retards on that forum.
I’m just wondering why you would make fun of your own kind?
I don't disagree, I just don't see the point of what he did. And WTF was with him squishing the frog? To prove to Hurley that he's a bad ass? To drive home the point that he's a prick? Yeah, he's Hitler already, we get it.

[xeno]Julios wrote:does it hold a candle to firefly in terms of cinematography, script, character depth, etc?
cinematography: yes.
script: most of the time, yes. a few eppisodes are mediocre a few one's are just great.
character depth: !!!!!!! the series actually is about the characters. (and the mystery plot, sometimes) ~ if you have not seen locke in action ... this man is creepy.
most of the actors are rather good:
jack some impressive scenes
locke if it was not for bruce campbell he'd be 'the man'
hurley
sayid)
some are ok:
jun
kate
sawyer
charlie
mr. eko
...
some are not so good
claire
ana lucia

The point is that he's probably there for a reason. One of 'them' doesn't just get caught in some stupid trap.
And even if he did, his friends would have rescued him, as they've been shown to move only in groups in the past - Except for infiltrators like Ethan and the other dude from the other side of the island.
Therefore he's probably an infiltrator.
Edit: And what if "they let him go"?
He claims he's by himself, so he probably wouldn't go anywhere. He'd want to stay with them.
