i'd never buy one, but it's pretty cool that the thing is the size of a bloody thumbtack.

the ONE cool thing about it is not its size, but that it's got an OLED display.

i had originally posted <$100 cuz when they first debuted, they were. interesting.

p.s. i think wally world has their exclusive mitts on this thing.

Oh thats nice. Thanks. :icon32:

Rio Carbon 5gb refurbs are available for ~$100, sometimes a little less. Solid devices, but essentially discontinued with limited support from Rio (or whatever the company is called now).

I wouldn't get a nano because of the scratching issue, but I recently saw the video iPod (or iPod Photo w/ video playback to be exact) and it was pretty amazing.

i would also recommend a Rio product. out of all the players i've listened to, these sounded the best. too bad about the company. :/

iirc, there is no ipod photo anymore. the "video ipod" is strictly called the ipod.

good choice man. i'm picking one up at the apple store on thursday since my trusty tdk is all but falling apart since weights have been dropped on it, it's been dumped in the dirt one too many times, and the display is no longer readable :)

yeah for the price and features it pretty much put other options to shame
