Seems like 5.1 is the way to go when it comes to gaming. Has anyone tried this kind of headphones?
I have the Zalman "5.1" headphones and they're pretty good. Cheap too, I think I got them for $60 something Canadian. It does give me some 3D localization for games, but probably not as good as the Medusa. There's no 'sub' in my cans. Sound quality is pretty good. A little heavy, but you get used to it.

Well I can live with the volume its the downward pressure they put on my ears that gets to me after a while.
Take them and put them on something that stretches them a little bit.. and let it sit overnight, kinda like a new baseball glove and having to form it..

oh yeah I had those headphones that Soap posted...they are ok...I rolled over the cord with my chair a few times and they stop working within 2 weeks. By comparision..i have another set of sony dj headphones...ive rolled over the cord 1000's of times and they still work great. But for $30~ what can you expect.
