If you are interested in these readings menkent, check out Before the Beginning. I know it sounds like I am a broken record shilling for that book, I can't recommend it enough as a reference for the origin of the multiverse. A fantastic description of those fractions of a second following the big bang and then the subsequent evolution of the universe.

Okay, paper is done now. Due to the quick nature of the task I didn't have time to read any books about it, but I'll pick them up if they're available at the local library.

P.S. - I can't believe how many crackpots think the world was created by aliens, or people suggesting that god made the world and physics is something pagans make up.
