Im not buying a wired 360 pad just for FFVII though, ill just get a cheap one.
What do you mean a plug and play kit?
Are you fucking stupid?

Buy a usb 360 controller (not even the windows one just a usb one), it autodetects the drivers, installs fine, then use that one 3rd party app to set the deadzones! Works with every game I've played

(ut2k4)(counterstrike)(numerous racing games)

Are you fucking stupid?

Carmageddon 2 was a buggy hunk of crap and did not look or play like Carma 1

Carmageddon 3 I just found out abou and looks like the firest so I am going to nail it on ebay for $4.00

Carmageddon 2005 for PC and Xbox didn't seem to make it out of the gates yet. I'm glad I looked I've been missing this game for so long!
Carmageddon 4 a.k.a TDR2000 was a pile of shit in my opinion. Didn't have the good old Carma 1 fun.

This sounds like a fun game.

edit: Found the PC version, but Gamespot doesn't have much good to say about the gameplay...
yeah carmageddon is a game for certain types of people it's not your typical racing game, it's more of a demolition dirby with pedestrians as bonus points. Carmageddon 1 owned and got great reviews. Like I said carma 2 sucked, but maybe Carma 3 will work out the kinks. I'll let you know once it arrives.
Please do. It sounds like a fun concept, I'm just a little put off by the way Gamespot says the fun is ruined by frustrating mandatory missions between races.

Isn't it Carmageddon 3: TDR2000, I think it sucked. The second was much better but buggy, never played the first.

Duh you can't do it with plug and play, I'm saying If you wanna plug it in to pc you need the usb version!

Just throwing my 2 cents in:

Carmageddon 2 was definitely the best. I still have it installed and play it from time to time. Don't know why GH thinks it's buggy... I've never had a problem.

TDR2000 or C3 or whatever it's called was terrible. The animation was slightly smoother, but that's about it.

And Carmageddon 1 is always a classic. :icon14:

Carmageddon 2 was really slow for some reason and had lots of wall clipping.

Carma 1 > Carma 2 > Carma TDR2000

You nose it.

Agreed. The only good Carmageddon was the first one. I pissed my pants first time I ran it with the 3Dfx patch on my PII way back in the day. I wish someone would come up with a generic OpenGL or D3D patch for it. TDR2000 sucked ass for sure.

Most Wanted keeps crashing on me in the menus, I hope the new nvidia drivers will fix that.

I was highly dissappointed in the way the gameplay was changed from Carma 1 to Carma 2, and there were tons of video issues to be worked out. I think I just gave up and stuck with carma 1
