ok, Are you using it through the console at the pc and joining in witht he Xbox ( unmoddod ) ?
Or are you using the Kai engine on your pc and using it through your console?

unmodded, but since I only have my iBook atm, its with the OS X client, which appears to be nothing like the others. I'm in an arena right now, asking questions, but I get no responses, making me think I'm not actually being seen.

It helps by showing me whats supposed to happen, but thats about it.
EDIT:Hmm, the client shows my xbox as a red icon (generally bad) and says retail only until I go into System Link in Halo2, then says successfully configured, but still red.

yea, dont think that.. people like me have the On-Xbox client running.. and to respond to shit like that is Way to much work ( on screen keyboard )
is eather of them wired? ( one is allowed to be wireless )
you join a room, then look in the system link selection and find the game?

I dont see what you are doing wrong if you do exactly what i did
console
shooters
Halo 2
country
then go to system link on the xbox while you are NOT connected to xbl
the games should start to pop up

Amidy: The Ibook is wireless, and the console is wired. I tried doing exactly what you say, but there are no games on the link screen.
Andy: Thats exactly what I do, but like I said, no games appear on the xbox.

Sure, Ag3nt_Sm1th, but I may be a few minutes, since I have to get my cell headset since my XBL one just snapped off. Oh, and I suck ass with controllers, invaribly sucking at console games in general.
