LOL. In the Nixon days, spying and wiretapping Democratic campaign headquarters got you impeached.

Today it just gets you elected.

Sadly, if I'd used Babelfish it would probably have come out a lot better. :olo:

Straight from my memory, and rubbing together the two surviving brain cells from high school and college classes.

Is this a lie? Because that implies somebody asked him if he's a dictator. Surely that didn't happen.
reporter asked him if the war on terror is gonna go on for decades, will this unchecked power go on forever...bush said something about it not being unchecked power and it implies the president is a dictator...and he resents that...

We added 215,000 new jobs in November. We've added nearly 4.5 million new jobs since May of 2003.

The other question was — you asked a multiple-part question.

Q. Yes, I did.

A. Thank you for violating the multiple-part question rule.

Q. I didn't know there was a law on that.

A. There's not a law. It's an executive order. In this case not monitored by the Congress, nor is there any administrative oversight.

Q. Well, without breaking any laws, back on domestic spying: Making the case for that can you give us some examples —

A. Oh, I've got you, yeah, I'm sorry.

No, I'm not going to talk about that because it would help give the enemy notification and/or perhaps signal them methods and uses and sources.

another documented bush lie...from april 2004...

"Secondly, there are such things as roving wiretaps. Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so. It's important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution."

The war hasn't made many jobs at all, compared to previous wars. The majority of them that it has created are overseas, from Iraq to China to India to Korea.

We don't manufacture anything over here anymore, how could a war create jobs except for soldiers?
