I have a kuwaiti friend who makes the absolute best sushi. I don't quite remember, but I think it was shimp tempura, avacado, cream cheese, cucumber, carrot, all wrapped up and topped with fresh salmon over the top drizzled with plum sauce and sesame seeds. There was always a little extra sand in it though.

i used to make sushi with my korean buddy. there is a very high density of sushi restaurants within a 1 mile radius of here so i usually leave it up to the pros.saturn wrote:I made some sushi last week with the gf. And I'm still not sure whether it's better to put the rice as a small stroke in the middle of the nori, or to spread it across the whole nori. Anyway, it still tastes the same

sushi owns, but that louis jadot isn't worth buying... so much better out there for the same $8.
