Unbelievable when he said each one cost 5 million to build.

Yer, I love the look of that car. Takes the idea of crisp contours and lines and sodomises it with raw practicality.

Kinda like the dodge viper.
funny you mention that, it has the same perportions as the viper..

i dont know anything about the car, but i would say the layout and wheelbase are going to be close :)

tvr's any combination of blackpool and russia cant be good. they look untidy, they are unreliable, and fuck, they develop the same bhp per litre as a vtec engine in some instances.

It's not hard to find at all, if you know where to look. To help you out just a bit (in case you don't know), it's series 7 episode 5 you're looking for ;)

Finally watched it. So it's one of those races and not a review. Hopefully that means there's still a chance that they might give it to the Stig for a go in the future.

Nice to see Mansell again, but I see that he's still doing what he does best: cheating on his lap by cutting two of the corners and ran really wide coming out of the last turn :p

Btw, they should've let the Stig drive Mansell's GP Master car to see how it compares to the Renault F1 car :icon30:

I love how the statement goes about that car - buying one is good for nature.

(read that in a car magazine quite recently)

here in holland, when one buys a veyron, the taxes he has to pay, enables the government to pay subsidy for 60 toyota pruises for normal citizens

Should be an interesting contest if this vid is any indication :icon30: What's the fastest production bike right now? The Hayabusa?

LOL. a bike??
This car will hammer a F1 car. And a F1 car will hammer a Honda Moto GP bike like nothing i've seen before.

To be honest, it's pretty silly to compare a bike to an F1 car to begin with

I reckon it'd still be close. The top F1 car is only about 50 bhp or so short on power (might even be equal for all we know) and yet weighs roughly 1/3 of the Veyron. In terms of power/weight ratio, the F1 car still has a vast advantage. What the Veyron has going for it are the 4WD, the quad turbos, and (most likely) the much higher torque. The F1 car should also have much higher drag, so that could balance things out even more, especially past 125mph. The only thing the F1 car will lose out for sure is the top end speed.

Even though VW owns Bugatti and the car was designed by a department that is part of VW, it has absoulutely nothing in common with any VW car. Don't go around and say that your Golf or Passat owns because VW has built the Veyron and your car has the same technology and recieved the same amount of engineering.

no part of that suggested that his polo had the same amount of engineering as the beast

he was just stating that VW pwn, which they do

He said that the Masters car has 650hp. The current F1 cars have about 950hp.
