i tried to care

OK here is a rundown of what happened.

First, I had everything setup and did test shots to see what it would look like. I didn't get to see them because every computer at work was taken.
When I went to the parking lot at lunch by the softball field, the antenna broke off. The base of the antenna tube had already broke and the antenna would just swing around (on the car) which i had patched with tape, but it didn't really work too well. Well when I took the body off to start it, the whole freakin antenna comes off. I'm thinking oh well I'm still going to run it. Me and my freind twisted it back together and kept it off anything metal. That fixed it.

Well it started immediatly and after warming up i let it go about 30ft out, then started to turn right. Half way through the turn, the broke antenna reminded me it was broke and the car well full speed into a perpendicular curb. OUCH.
The front brace popped off, but that can be popped back in. What can't be popped back to normal is the bent ass driveshafts. shit. These are expensive, and a pain in the ass to replace (especially the front one. Alot of steering shit to take apart to get the front differential assembly off).
The back one wasn't so bad because that has a stronger brace, but it still bent as well.

I even ran it in the dirt even though it was still a little wet, since those were bent and taking it all apart to fix it would necessitate cleaning.

So all this and the fucking camera fails me as well. God damn shit....i even had the crash on video. That would have been sweet.

I am going to get one of those spy cameras off ebay, the ones that transmit to a receiver, get a cheapo vcr, plug it into the receiver and use my acdc car power converter to power the vcr, and use that to record. Then I'll take the vcr, plug it into my capture card on my computer, and go from there. This way I can get sound too

Give me about a week or so, I'll have money for all of this once I get paid.

edit: The car hit the curb BEFORE we fixed the antenna......it ran like normal after that. Well, as normal as can be with 2 bent drive shafts.

it just happened to be on 3.1mgpxl.....ill change it next time for all you nancy's

I just bought one of those mini spycams they sell on ebay for 40 bucks...This should work good. It is a color one, too.

Casio EX-Z57, it doesnt take the best video. But it gets the job done.

whats wrong with that one? I like that one....actually reccomended it to my freind to get his girlfreind as a gift.

Thanks for posting that, but with the setup I am using I'll be able to moniter in real time and play back instantly. plus it's a little smaller
