I feel sorry for the conversation. To be stuck between two retards

Only doctors will get this one, but I had a colleage who saw a perfectly healthy 22 year-old portuguese/creole-speaking african man who had come with a pain in his chest. This man had no past medical history apart from being a victim of torture in his home country.

This doctor misinterpreted his ECG, which showed the normal variant known as high takeoff (commonest in young, thin males due to lower impedance of chest), as signifying that he was currently having a heart attack.

When I told her that this was a load of bollocks, she countered with "Oh, but he was tortured!".

Even stupider was the doctor who then accepted her referral to the medical team....

Can't argue with that solid reasoning, doctor!

back in college i was scrubbed in with the chief of surgery and the 'surgical chief resident'

the idiot resident pointed to the female patients' (very large and fatty female) uterus and referred to it as the fucking gall bladder

the chief caught it and bet him 100 bux it's not the gall bladder

instead of backing down the resident continued to argue that it was the gall bladder

so the chief laughed and and of course rubbed his face in his shitheaded stupidity and wanted his 100 bux


a heavy sense of disbelief filled the room
