speaking of historical drama, troy and kingdom of heaven weren't any better. KOH is just another nail in the coffin of orlando bloom's acting career. the guy has maybe 3 possible facial expressions, which is about 8 less than g-man

i could watch it and go "some of that was pretty cool"
kingdom of heaven though, i couldnt watch it all without falling asleep and i tried 3 times

It's not that it wasn't "as good", it's more about the fact that it COMPLETELY changed the story of the epics.

I'm well aware, having read the original story. It was in no way representative of the original story other than the city, the character names, and the horse, but it was an entertaining movie IMO.
