I used to live in Sonoma County and had a few good wines living there, although I'd still take beer and hard liquor over wine any day.
If you're into wine, and like neh said California (esp Sonoma/Napa County) has some good ones, I never minded Glen Ellen chardonnay. It's cheap too, $8 a bottle or something like that and I thought it was a pretty refreshing drink, I didn't mind it on hot days.

It gets you VERY wrecked, quite quickly

Im into this Chillean Rose at the moment, its sharp as hell and its only £4 a bottle!

dry white wine. And without reference to its quality/price dry wine just has more acid (I reckon

Am I the only one who chooses wine according to what goes better with what I'm eating instead of what they personally prefer :icon6:
P.S. - I almost exclusively drink wine when I'm eating something, otherwise a beer/vodka/cocktail is enough.
