That was an a kh-602 in the clip but I have a strat layin' around.
yngwie is pretty good..kind of a douche. he doesn't write much good music.

i remember when he jus came out , i heard it and said to myself wow can this guy play. i never had any records or anything, but now as i read that interview, that guy lives his dream and he can play like crazy, i can dig that, plus now hes all elvis'ie goen on,i like it hehe

i remember when he came out too, and at the time, it was mindboggling to hear this kind of technique. this was when the Ron Keel fronted Steeler's first album came out. the song was "Hot On Your Heels" and the opening acoustic bit blew me away just like Eddie's had done.
shortly after, Yngwie joined Graham Bonnett's group Alcatrazz. there was some good stuff in there too.
but, it all broke wide open with his solo debut Rising Force. still one of the best mostly instrumental albums of this generation, imo.
unfortunately now, he's a fat alcholic cow who plays sloppily and looks silly :\
it's unfortunate, really.
