Z X = strafe
RMB LMB = fwd/back
spacebar = fire 1
S = fire 2
A = use
C = jump
V = crouch
CTRL = run/walk
MMB = reload (where applicable)

WASD.

While ESDF and RDFG have more keys around them, I got used to WASD when being taught Q3 by players like anakist. It's easy for me to know without looking when my pinky finger is on the crouch key and the walk key as the keys are bigger, ie, shift and ctrl.
Also, I never figured out how players felt comfortable with jump on the space bar. I've always used mouse 2 for jump.

Sometimes yea. When I get devastatingly pwned on Q4, I load up Q3 so I can only get slightly pwned. That makes me feel better.

Yeah, good idea. At the risk of starting a whole Q4 discussion, all I can say is, I really like Q4 but, it doesn't as yet have the 'homely' feel of Q3. I'm not sure why, maybe it's the maps, maybe it's other little touches like enemy skins, showing each players score when you spec them instead of just the top 2 in Q4,some of the sounds, framerate, PG is better than the nailgun, the speed that you can load up Q3 join a server and play without it taking ages, and just watching pro demos in Q4 is boring for some reason compared to Q3.

Mines not really either. I'm absolute minimum spec with my shitty XP2000+, 9800pro and less than 1gb of ram. It is playable for the most part, until there's more than about 6 players. On dm17 my frames go down to sngle digits when theres a few players on. Slide show city!
