If none of the previous FT modders (most notably Haste, Borland and Doolittle) are going to pick it up, I might give it a shot. Can't live without Freeze for very long :)
good man :icon14:, remember, i'm always here to test ;)

In addition to the things others have said:

- I want the icons of weapons I'm holding to come up on screen whenever I try to change weapon. It sucks having to remember what I've picke dup and what I haven't.

- I want cg_simpleitems

- I want dmg given/taken displayed in the stats

- I want accuracy percentages coupled with the number of shots fired

(The latter two are fluff, but nice to have)

It sounds retarded, but i've got it to the point where its just as fast as using a keyboard bind. So yeah, thats why i'd prefer to do that.
So what happens when you scroll the wheel without pressing the LG bind? It is kind of retarded in mods that don't have instant weapon switching though, because you add an extra weapon switch (when you have LG).

I just use mwheelup/down for RL and GL respectively...
I don't use the mousewheel for anything other than what I said. Every other weapon has binds on my keyboards, but it is just more convenient for me to have the spacebar as my RL bind, and then use the mousewheel up or down after I press it to select the LG or GL respectively.

So if I wanted to select the LG, I will...

Press SPACE (RL bind) and then move the mousewheel down (to select the LG as it is next in the queue).

As I say, it sounds pretty backwards, but it is immediate for me. Ask a few of the people on this forum if you don't believe me ;)

If you don't use your mousewheel for anything, why not bind MWHEELDOWN to the LG, and MWHEELUP to the GL?

That way you would still have the same bind for those two weaps, only you wouldn't have to switch to the RL first to make them work.

:)

Oh, and I'd like to be able to use colours in chat text, too... My "^3TURTLE POWER!" bind should be yellow, but it just comes out as "^ 3 TURTLE POWER!" :(

Yeah I have a weird thing with a chat bind as well. I bound the following

bind l "say :)"

and whenever I press L, there's a space between : and )

Doesn't work, either. You just end up with "^ c400TURTLE POWER!" or whatever. However, if I press T, then type ^3Yellow, it does come up in yellow. It's annoying because I normally colour code my team binds.

Actually, along the same lines, I haven't yet found any way of reporting locations, items, targets etc. You know, like "I have the %t %l" or "$t has been hit" etc.

The ^cRGB stuff doesn't work in the console, but if you bind it to a key it should work I think.
