Nahhha man.
I'm just saying it's not easy to get a gametype vote thru with a server
full of Clan Arena guys.
I was on for only 45 mins last night playing almost 3 full set of games.
I watched as one other guy callvoted CTF and got a failed vote in less than 5 seconds after calling it... Hahaha.
I tried myself a few times before moving on after 13 no to 2 yes failed votes.
It's just an observation is all. Not a complaint.

I barely got myself in to CTF and such when I figured out the
Threewave CFG for axbaby's server way back.
I really enjoyed Threewave and later got into enjoying CTF when
I could. I still have a shit-load to learn on the team aspect since I
rogue wayyy-too much but I think I'm getting the picture. Hehehehe.
The patch is really a point where things will be decided as far as game play
for Quake4 it seems.

Just got Q4 for my Bday played online and it was SWEET, looking forward to joining the server when you guys are online.

I've cobbled together a utility we can all use to make sure you have the right maps for the server. Download it here:
http://www.quake4world.com/q4mapupdater.zip
To use, unzip it and run SyncMaps.bat. It'll download the PK4s you need and place them straight into your Q4 installation. Whenever the server maps are changed, you just have to run the program again.
If your Q4 is installed somewhere other than c:\games\quake 4, right click and edit SyncMaps.bat and change it to the right folder.
Ghetto, but it works

Curious.
Anyone connect to Denz's server today?
He's got q4max on there but I seem to have trouble
connecting to it.
I can connect to other q4max server but not his
Anyone having this problem or is it just me?

Hey. I just got done uploading all of the maps and configs.
I tried connecting before I restarted the server to make my changes take effect, and q4 crashed as soon as I got into the game. I restarted the server, and everything seems to be good now.
All of the custom maps and what not that was on there before are back on.
