. I'm glad it was subtitled and not dubbed. The dubbing ruined Dad Boot, comparing the subtitled version to the dubbed one and there's no comparison.
Dad boot?
Never seen that one? Is it about a fathers boat?
"The Boat"
It's about a crew of German submariners, and it's extremely well done. If you can, get the extended edition.

i'm not arguing with your or anything (that would be Survivor), but i can't say i know anything about his ww1 experiences. what happened?
several units he was fighting with were completely wiped out except for him...he was gassed by the french or britsh...among other things...

Kracus wrote:I'd agree terrorists killing themselves for what they beleive in isn't really cowardice but hitler killing himself in face of defeat is pretty cowardly. But ultimately what choice would the most hated man on earth have? Capture certainly wouldn't be very appealing.
thats like saying bushidoism is cowardice...

out of curiousity...did anyone read Roal Dahl's collection of short stories?
in there he explains the true story of hitler's birth. its pretty interesting.

Yeah except that bushidoism is something you go into and practice. The germans didn't have this code that stated if in the event of capture in order to keep your honor you have to kill yourself rather than be caught. He just saw that the situation didn't pan out the way he wanted it to and took the cowards way out and killed himself. That's a big difference.

i dont know if its necessary to go into and practice something like bushido in order to commit suicide and avoid being billed a coward.
some captains of their ship commit "suicide" and you can't say they're a coward because they didnt practice something or other regularly.
i'm not saying youre saying this kracus. i guess what i am trying to say is that its not necessary for hitler to practice whatever or for the whole german populace to have this ideal in order for him to do what he did and not be a coward.
i guess we really cant be certain either way wtf he was thinking.
