Why is it that it takes FOREVER to download a list of headers from a newsgroup? Is there a common mistake I could be making?

its taking forever cause you're getting it free from your isp.. just like my isp has my usenet capped at 35/k's for the past 2 yrs
just google others and pay some yearly fee to have unlimited speed
u can start off with giganews but there are better ones out there

Because in order to acctually use newsgroups you need to have a decent service that retains the files for a period of time, most isps don't do that. They really only support newsgroups for chatting.
I don't use them myself but there are a handfull of services that you can get that will give you highspeeds and allow you to find and download all the files you need for a fairly small fee a month. Something like $10 la month or around there, and most if not all accept paypal so you could just use it for a month get all you want and then quit.
Maybe ask Odium or whoever else uses them for a recommendation.

This game is to funny... It has shit loads of easter eggs, from the windows and alien ware computer rip offs, to the little post it notes...
I was gonna post a screenshot or two, but it turns out i CANT for some reason, hmmm... How do i take pics in fear?

Its because of the PS2 that I prey games are not "multi format", because if they are (EA games eg) then they will ALWAYS make them for the slowest console (PS2) and then port them to the rest, forcing me to play shoddy games... It had its day 2 years ago. Let it die.
Plus somebody should mention "dead zone" to the sony dev team, and maybe THEN you will be able to play with that horrid pad.

Every console has shit games
The Gamecube versions of games i have seen look worse than the
PS2 versions in some cases.
I have a list of about 20 games that are worth there weight in Gold
for the PS2.
Fear really is shit tho, i have no love for the game
