Because in order to acctually use newsgroups you need to have a decent service that retains the files for a period of time, most isps don't do that. They really only support newsgroups for chatting.
I don't use them myself but there are a handfull of services that you can get that will give you highspeeds and allow you to find and download all the files you need for a fairly small fee a month. Something like $10 la month or around there, and most if not all accept paypal so you could just use it for a month get all you want and then quit.
Maybe ask Odium or whoever else uses them for a recommendation.

Because its got shit games and a shit pad Its because of the PS2 that I prey games are not "multi format", because if they are (EA games eg) then they will ALWAYS make them for the slowest console (PS2) and then port them to the rest, forcing me to play shoddy games... It had its day 2 years ago. Let it die.
Plus somebody should mention "dead zone" to the sony dev team, and maybe THEN you will be able to play with that horrid pad.

Every console has shit games
The Gamecube versions of games i have seen look worse than the
PS2 versions in some cases.
I have a list of about 20 games that are worth there weight in Gold
for the PS2.
