You can play these maps, albeit remade, with the lost arena mod. If you can still find that mod that is. :paranoid:

endless long pillars disappearing into the black void looks a lot better than floating 2 texture platforms, IMO

Really? Never knew that. :o!

When I went on my quest to find and download every version I could, I did Win32 first, then Linux, and then school sarted and I never got around to download all the mac files... :(

Yup 1.03 was the first Q3test. The maps and certain details (ie. like rocket smoke density, etc) were somewhat different. There's still a review of it on Thresh's website:

Thanks for all the info!

I have another question:
I've traced the following Q3Test versions:
*1.03
*1.05
*1.06
*1.07
*1.08
But I've also seen a lot of talk about 1.09, yet I can't find anything saying it was ever released. It's also been referred to as the 'Demo Test'.
Was 1.09 actually the demo release? Or is it floating around out there somewhere?

Files are still archived away somewhere. Not actively doing anything with it. Same with the maps stash at the mo.

S'not a case of effort. I've drawn a blank on a decent way of serving it up that won't cost me arm + leg. This part of the world has poop international links and pricing.
