Yes That's acually funny that you mention that. I originally started this map as a unreal map and after some days in the unreal editor I kind of realise, firstly unreal does not support vertex colos for .lwo files and secondly the their was no way I could get some good shadows using vertex lightning. So I decided to test to bake everything with unique textures. I probably would have done this for q4 instead if it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to do 55 different normal maps based on the unwraps
So anyway my point was :P right now I only need the support of soft edges and I be fine. Remains to bee seen what the file size is going to be though, the unreal version is around 35 mb

Glad my letters decal test turned out well. You can kinda tell I've been playing COD4, except, my stuffs slightly higher detail than IW's, lol. Excuse the gloss, the lights placed right next to it.

Thanks a bunch man! You are right about the screens, I left the large size at only 512. I will replace them with 1024's.

dude that looks pretty good. i think if you were going to work on any single element to really bang out the wow factor, i would suggest making the water look as good as possible. right now, it kinda looks like flat water that is just sitting still, but from the landscape, it should be flowing and probably not easy to see through.

Yeah, I really like the look of that as well Fjoggs! Kind of reminds me of what you would get if you mixed Tron, Quake3, and yellow O.Ob

Nunuk-alike brush work and textures still work brilliantly

(things that look good don't have to be that intricate)
I tilt my head to the right.

The map uses textures by evillair and the Tremulous team. I'm quite busy atm so it'll most likely take a while till it's finished.
