I think a mention is just like a preliminary hearing, which is what that website has his appearances listed as. It looks like he's got that going on in both the Magistrates for the AVO and the Crown / District for grabbing her by the pussy. When it gets to a full hearing / summary in district then shit will get serious .

The Crown / district court has it listed it as a 1st mention, so he might be returning to magistrates after the district court for them to decide on his AVO, cos he must have contested the AVO. I know it'll take a while for it to move to a full hearing in crown cos they have to prepare the jurors and allow barristers n shit to prepare their cases. Atm it's just a bunch of suits in a room.
