YeMKJ - all 24 hours stores were out of copies by 1am around here and there were queues @ 6am for the store that open at 7 and 8. So I had to be there to grab a copy innit :)

This game is awesome.
I already got a 15 kill streak, but I haven't unlocked the later kill streak bonuses to really be able to benefit from it. :/

Host migration could have been the only feature added to the game and I still would have bought it, by the way.

Game is hard - starting straight off on Hard as regular and easy would be shit. Glad I did not do Vet mode as I think I would have given up by now >:E

Can't wait to finish SP so I can nail Preditor and MP

SP is shit hot btw - game lives up to the hype so far :)

Found out while running yesterday that a big warehouse was open in the evening hours 200 meters from where I live, so I went and picked up my copy there and cancelled the other preorder. So yay, I now possess this game. Didn't play much yet (only the intro bit and fired some grenades at some terrorists).
I chose hardened as my difficulty level, as I finished CoD4 on this difficulty first go as well (played a large portion on veteran even). Still the game decided that this difficulty was too high for me and suggested I try a lower difficulty. Fuck that. I guess it based this on my training run which I totally flunked.

I am worrying about one thing though. For the first time ever I've felt that there was too much detail in a game for my old SD television.

Activision announces Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now available in stores. Interestingly, the version purchased through Steam will not unlock until Thursday night, presumably some sort of concession to retail.

it's not about the SP with COD. in fact SP's an added bonus.

Friend of mine says he finished SP (5 - 6 hours) and got enough XP for level 17 in a single day. A day in which 8 - 9 hours were spent playing MW2 mind you.

iwnet sucks ass...anything under 4 bars and its not fun. i often get connected to servers with 2 bars(more than 1/2 the time). i enabled lagometer in cfg file and its not pretty. have played with ppl in mexico a few times. no way to change profiles so my son can play. even at 4 bars the connection is inconsistent. cheaters are rampant...seen many obvious cheater who even brag about it and i'm only level 18...i could go on...
