ff man, you do realize that every single word that comes of of these candidates mouth for the last two month straight gets tore apart? the thousands of speeches, every pop quiz. Every misspoke phrase or missed answer and every retarded blogger on the net blows their load over it while sitting in the comfort of their home with their encyclopedia of facts. This article, I think anyone with reason can understand what she is getting at, but its a perfect opportunity to blow shit out of proportion because she didn't explain herself well enough. She reaffirming that its within her first amendment rights to criticize Obamas associations, and that if the press convince enough voting morons that she shouldn't be able to do that it could affect the first amendment, so she thinks maybe they should ease up on her... there..that was easy. Who would have thought a politician would want the press to get off their nuts? great.

I may think bible spice would be the worse president ever, but I will stick by my original statement that you gotta have brains to be a presidential candidate, a governor or a senator and for a couple of back seat drivers who made it up the corporate ladder to middle management to be casting stones and wearing 'stupid' buttons... that is pure comedy. Thats all I was saying in the first place...ne 1 else wanna fight?

and btw this whole media orgy during election year nauseates me for this very reason...it like a giant gossip column. everything is spun. I watch the debates, a few speeches and research on my own. I don't need oberman or orielly opinion on any of it.

I have to disagree Shaft. Yes, she's probably more intelligent than the average "Joe." But compared to most other politicians she simply seems like a dolt. She's ignorant of the basic issues and had fundamental misunderstandings about our government.

And I fail to see what my position in life has to do with it. I don't aspire to that sort of position. I like what I do and I'm good at it. Just because I don't have mad ambitions doesn't mean I'm "average." My intelligence is WAY above average and I dare say it is significantly above hers. I don't have to be a musician to judge when music is shitty. I don't have to make films to say a movie is crap. I don't have to be a politician to understand that she is unequivocally unqualified for VP, especially when McCain has a 20 - 25% chance of dieing in his first term.

But that won't fit on a button, so I went with "STUPID."

She's undoubtedly a cunning, shrewd career maker.
Of course it takes a lot to get to be in a position Palin is in, but that doesn't intrinsically make her being in that position 'a good thing'.
For her, yes, for the rest of the world, probably not.

Sarah Palin gets prank called by Nicolas Sarkozy.

http://crooksandliars.com/jamie/its-no- ... lin-caught
MONTREAL — A Quebec comedy duo notorious for prank calls to celebrities and heads of state has reached Sarah Palin, convincing the Republican vice-presidential nominee she was speaking with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

In the interview, which lasts about six minutes, Palin and the pranksters discuss politics, pundits, and the dangers of hunting with current vice-president Dick Cheney.
OMG :olo:

They even mention "Nailin' Palin," calling it a documentary on her life that Fox News made, and she doesn't even catch it.

Such a great opportunity and they wasted it on weak jokes. :(

Yea I read that too.

Sounds like there's a lot of hard feelings toward Palin in the McCain campaign.

The thing about Palin that I find most hilarious/pathetic is that she's doing this only for herself. She voted but wouldn't say for whom....you know damned well she wrote her name on the ballot. She's soaking up the limelight and believes she'll be in the White House someday regardless of any flak she has and will receive.

She is identical to Bush in one very important way: she'll ignore all the negativity directed at her because she believes her celebrity/worthiness is genuine....she's too stupid to get all the facts and opinions from people outside her circle. She sees her popularity through rose-coloured glasses as Bush did and probably blames McCain and his campaign for her failure, instead of her own narcissism.

100% delusion and a dangerous RWA "double high" social dominator personality.

The world doesn't need more Sarah Palins in politics.

... Obama was recorded saying, "I don't consider this to be a good format for me, which makes me more cautious. I often find myself trapped by the questions and thinking to myself, 'You know, this is a stupid question, but let me … answer it.' So when Brian Williams is asking me about what's a personal thing that you've done [that's green], and I say, you know, 'Well, I planted a bunch of trees.' And he says, 'I'm talking about personal.' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective'."

From the NY Times: best Sarah Palin quote ever. On the McCain staff attacks on the diva Palin:
“cruel and it’s mean-spirited, it’s immature, it’s unprofessional, and those guys are jerks.”

http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news ... e07c95dc95

"Capone has previously released such films as Agent Filthy 0069, High Definition and Sophia Revealed, none of which featured any senior members of the U.S. Republican Party."
