Didn't you post a remodel thread a few years back? And you've seen one wall in one of the bathrooms. Cosmetic update, nothing more. Lighten up Francis.

An update on a home built in 2000. Not a whole home remodel on a 1960s handy man's special. You better get to work.

Not doing the whole house genius. What the hell does it matter what you're updating from anyway? I figured if you have half the construction experience you claim, you would know this. A little paint a little tile. No big deal. I'm starting to figure that you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.

Project Management happens on many tiers of industry. So I'm sure you do. I have thousands of product managers that work to meet my needs.
Grow up.

So you mean to tell me that all your 60s shanty needs is a coat of paint and some tile. LOL.
I guess we're suppose to ignore the antiquated electrical device, 50s/60s style dark wood door that's 1/2 painted white, mismatched vanity and pull chain fixture... I'm going to guess the house was built between 1955 and 1965, the walls are wire lathe stucco, the ceiling are all 8', you have almost zero attic space with poor insulation, the AC system was a retrofit and the windows might even be large pain crank-out jalousie style.
What didn't I get right?

Most of it. Electrical was already updated, so were doors, fixtures, roof, and windows. Insulation is good. There is not one ounce of stucco anywhere on my property. You did get a couple things right. 8' ceiling, and added AC. Not much attic space, but what do I need that for? So, yeah, a little paint and some tile. Btw, you don't see jalousie windows around here.

No you don't.
Why would a project manager need a product manager? I don't think you know what you're talking about.

So they did everything and skipped the bathroom light switch, vanity light fixture and door? Makes perfect sense... Maybe I should have said wire lathe and plaster. But I bet I got the year (era) right. Ample attic space, proper venting and insulation make climate control more energy efficient. I didn't see jalousie windows. However they were very popular during the time before AC became standard. But I don't know what I'm talking about...

You mean to tell me that none of the companies that sell me or my vendor products have product managers marketing their products. Interesting.

No plaster either. Sheetrock. Maybe that shit was standard in Florida along with the jalousie windows. Not here. Light fixture and switch will take a total of about 15 minutes to change. Door another 15 minutes. My electric bill was less than $100 the last few months, I'd say climate control is working pretty well. The AC/heat rarely kick on. The house had AC previously, it was updated some time in the last few years. For the most part, no you don't know what you're talking about. Pretty close on the era.

Not at all. In big boys companies with profits in the billions, project managers are people that manage projects set by people just like me.
I'm still waiting for you to explain why you don't understand my 'no u' reference.

Drywall wasn't a popular building material until the late 40s early 50s. So it's highly likely that your house could have been wire lathe and plaster. You said the windows were redone. From what? Again, you're trying to sell me on the notion that the only electrical devices, light fixtures and doors that aren't outdated are the ones in the bathroom. Right... I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Deal with it.

The house being built in the late 50s puts it right in there with drywall being popular. So how does that make it likely that it would have been plaster? I have yet to see any house here that has plaster, period. Most of the older houses here have wooden slat walls. This one doesn't. The windows were redone from the same style that they have now. They used to be single pane double hung, as most of the older houses here have. Now they are double pane storm windows. And the bathroom hasn't been updated yet, because I haven't gotten that far. Like I said, I just bought the house. I do the work myself and do it over time. I have no deadline to get it done. What is so hard to understand about that? Oh, and I never said the bathroom was the only area that needed a little updating. I said I wasn't doing the whole house. You assumed the rest.
