hmm, game 7 once again... the Canes are in trouble :\ Should be interesting.

Jesus, what a rout. I recorded it and watched it this morning. The thing that jumped out at me the most was how much more composed and smooth Edmonton was on the power play. Leaps and bounds better than Carolina, they looked like a high school team.
Oh well, got to love a good 7 game series.

Indeed, they wouldn't even have a chance of winning if their powerplay hadn't clicked. Now that it's all oiled up, the pressure is on Carolina because now they think if they get penalties, Edmonton will capitalize whereas before they could get reckless and generate quite a bit of momentum killing Oil powerplays.
