I think the f/1.4 50 is pretty good. The L designation means quality, but hauling around that much weight gets old. I'm looking at getting the 135mm prime when I get rid of the 70-200. Most of the stuff I end up taking is low light/no flash anyway.

Maybe Zeiss will make some glass for Canon one of these days like they've started doing for Nikon

Ft. Gordon, I was pretty thin then... probably weighed between 150 and 155. Right now I weigh about 170, give or take a couple.
