My boss walked into my office and dropped several hundred bucks cash on my desk. Nice little bonus. Also just booked a family cruise to the Bahamas.

Most legitimate companies don't pay their employee in cash for tax record purposes. In your case it would be the 25% supplemental wage tax on your bonus. Have you asked your employer about it?

It will be in box b of your W2 form, Brian. I'm sure someone at the irs can fast track this issue to prevent any further mistakes.

My last bonus was £4000, treated myself to a Omega. A few hundred is nice though.
