It is amazing when you get the 2 teams locked in a big fight down the street Where you have one team on one side, and the other team on the opposite side. You have people peaking out the 2nd story windows, looking around the corners, being prone beside concrete blocks. Having a marry shoot out, seeing who's going to win over the ally. It's just amazing, you have people providing cover with MG's, people providing smoke cover, others trying to outflank the enemy. Those moments are priceless.

You ever played any of the "grass" maps in COD4? They are too big, and all that thick grass does not help.
Oh, and all the grass and abandoned building/warehouse maps in COD4 give me this shuddering deja-vu to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. multiplayer. Scared?

uhh no they cant.... you had to have known this though..

man i can hardly find people sometimes... i seem to have this odd timing issue. When I camp a flight of stairs for a minute then give up on it, i get stabbed in the back 2 seconds later. also when i turn corners, i'll look one way, then go the other and then die. in the killcam it shows the way that i first looked, only with 2-3 people there just turning the corner.... gotta fix this

I love knifing in people, in other games I never bothered to kife people in the liver or the neck, but this game makes it so fun. SO, in turn I have it perfected down to an art form. Sometimes I would spend the whole match behind enemy lines, knifing. Mmm, chopped liver.

As you continue playing the various maps, you end up discovering a rather surprising number of places where it takes a little skill to get to, but they are high vantage points, places you don't notice at first. For example having to lean out of a window, then jumping on to a 2nd floor ladder that you can't normal reach that takes you all the way up to a roof top. Amazing sniper nests.

are you talking about pipline? that place is way high up


and it was hilarious how hardly anyone knew how to get the the 3rd deck in crash during the beta

The Pipeline map has some amazing rooftop vistas. However, the one I was describing is in Backlot. There is a 2 floor building smack middle of the map. It has one car inside it on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor is has windows on all 4 sides, but on one side it also has a small balcony, and a ladder leading up, from that balcony. The only way to get to the balcony is by leaning out a window and trying to jump on to it. This takes precise timing and coordination.

I love finding spots like that. No one ever goes there, and no one ever looks for you there, so you are free to do as you wish.

Finding the rooftop (3rd deck) of the building beside the crashed helicopter in the map Crash is painfully easy. There are 2 ways up. And you can't possibly miss them.

they need to nix the helicopter moronics and the airstrikes...or at least all the non moron servers need to turn that gayness off...no aol games please...
