in that case yours needs to be hell of a lot bigger boyo
great location though. mountaintop bases are always the best, even with MC's crappy draw distance

Got my glowstone and nether rack eye on top. I'm done with that building. I'll take some inside shots.
I have bored a tunnel down to level 12 and now I'm diamond hunting

pick axe with efficency 4 and unbreakable 3 helps to get shit done quickly

Got 12 so far, but I accidentally chucked my pick axe into lava. Dick. So crafted a new one and enchanted it:
Efficiency 4
Unbreaking 3
Fortune 3
So I might get a few more soon. Found 11 diamonds in 15 mins this morning

Keep in mind it's easier to repair that shit than to use it all up and hope for the same thing.

Thanks seremtan.
I have too often thrown stuff and on reading the protip changed the default key
Currently Day 101 and looking for diamonds.
My tip; regular game saves help as I have bumped that lava a bit too often

You need an enchanting table and some books/book cases

eh? the game autosaves, and you can't reload from just before you did something stupid. it doesn't work like that

I know. I back up/copy the saved game to a different directory occasionally.
The other day I didn't and lost a couple of hours

I do it just before I try something dangerous as I was trying to mine obsidian (first I'd seen it the other day) deep and bumped the lava

more protip: mine a 1x1x1 hole in the obsidian (revealing the lava underneath) then pour a bucket of water into the resulting hole and leave it there while you mine around the hole
