Technically he'll need an 8000 or 9000 since he's doing 120, which will set him back about $2000

Fresh off the scanner. This is shitloads better than the lab as far as dust is concerned. Didn't get a chance to crop it or anything yet.

They were from the Honda Collection Hall at Twin Ring Motegi. A friend of mine used to live 30mins from there.

I like the atmosphere and lighting, kudos.

I got a
CanoScan 8600F
It works well enough for me, since I'm just a hobbyist.

Thank you, sir! Means a lot to me since one of your photos has been my desktop at work for ages now (the fall one).

I might buy a 1D MKII N

After using both, I prefer the 5D for everything except shooting sports... Even the the 5D has a considerable edge in extreme low light. The 1DMIIN is a better camera in every respect except image quality and low light performance.

Wait for the rumored new 1D with the 5D sensor and 1V half body... If it's true I'm getting rid of both bodies I have now for that one. Apparently some guy wrote an article about it and had to pull it down for some reason... Usually when that happens it's more than just a rumor. Water resistant and full frame without the full price of a 1DS (which he claims will be 22MP)

Huzzah for weird film anomalies and poorly scanned photos.
Apparently, there's a paramecium eating my film.

It looks like either fogged film or light leakage on the scanner bed

Since it's MF, you could almost wallpaper an entire wall in your house with that

I'll re-scan it in a higher resolution this weekend and post it. :icon14:

It's on the negative like that. At first I thought that I might've exposed it when I was loading the film, since it was the first frame, but the weird thing is that it's on the trailing edge of the picture. I dunno.
I kinda like how it turned out, though. Mistakes = art, right?
