The feeling I get when I hear a new band is something that's unparalleled as far as I'm concerned. Especially when the band is as good as this:

I've not heard a lot by this band, but this song grabbed me.
BTW if anyone can recommend any other bands like this (curious mix of rocknroll/rockabilly and metal guitars) that's be great

Volbeat is pretty good. Lots of my friends love them.

This is Beck "reimagining" David Bowie's Sound and Vision. I've watched it 5 times in HD and each time I find a new instrument. It was produced for a Lincoln ad and notes: "360 experience coming soon". The performance is in the round and you will see the 360 camera behind Beck. I suspect you will be able to navigate the theater and performers in 360 fashion when it is released. Enjoy or not:
This man was pointed out to me last weekend, he makes delicious trippy stuff. Been on a Monolake binge ever since, his music is most soothing.
Oh my...

Kate Nash's new single has nothing on Made of Bricks. In the mean time, post-black metal. Hate it:

Interesting... I know this is shred metal, but the phrasing gets tired pretty quick. It'd be nice to hear something other than straight-rhythm sweeps for 75% of a song. The harmonies are well placed, though. Killer tone too. Last time I heard Tony MacAlpine he was raping a piano and a guitar at the same time for Steve Vai.

I think I prefer this to the original track. I guess I'm not a big fan of death metal vocals these days.
