I'm not talking about gramps, I've been asking you from the first post in this thread about why you think owning a gun makes someone a redneck. You've also consistently raved against gun ownership in many other threads over the years and I'm pointing out what the realities and showing what the relevant laws are from the country we both live in.
Owning a gun does not necessarily make one a redneck but it can be a contributing factor.
A lot of my opinion on this regarding YGP is based on his previous posts. For example:

all power to you, but it's not for me. i wouldn't have any guns like that in my house.
Gun safe ++
Soon the wife and I will have our concealed weapons permits and be able to carry full time. I most likely won't carry, but my wife is small and travels with our son a lot and I want her to be able to fend off baddies.
We've got a gun safe and the guns are always locked up. The key is also hidden. I'm not so worried about home invasion as I have a monitored security system and I live in a great neighborhood. So there is no reason to leave a gun where my son or one of his friends will get it.
You have to be smart to avoid becoming a statistic.
Then I point out that hidden keys can be found and gwamps doesn't even think i could be referring to his son.
Yes they can. But as long as my family and I aren't home when they're found, there's nothing I can do. When my son becomes wise enough to start looking, the keys will go with the wife and I. He will also be educated about the danger and use of guns.
Ask him how old his son was when he wrote that.
So yes YGP + guns + other stuff = red neck.
