It depends on the car. Some cars will have a different trim with the same engine. For example: Nissan Sentra XE and GXE have the same engine, but completely different trim. Although usually different trims come with different engines.Don Carlos wrote:Thats not the trim, thats the engine type!ToxicBug wrote:No, you need to tell me the trim too. ie TDi, 2.slow, 1.8T, VR6, etcMKJ wrote:so i can just say "Golf" to you then
I don't know any european cars that I can name to give you an example though. The only one that comes to mind that might be available where you are is the Honda Civic. In 2000, in Canada there were 4 trims: CX, DX, Si, SiR. The only difference between CX and DX are the options (ie trim), they both have a 106bhp engine, while Si has a 127bhp SOHC VTEC engine and the SiR has a 160bhp DOHC VTEC engine. Therefore I think that its correct to call the letters or whatever that come after the car model the "trim"

Hey dumbass, you're fucking wrong, again. Ever heard of the Golf GTI? Obviously not. Please try to tell me that they're separate models. Please. There have been Golf GTIs in the US since 1985 when VW introduced the new body style.ToxicBug wrote:

Pick a new hobby, fuckwit. Cars and you clearly aren't meant to be.

Look, Golf and GTI are separate cars on vw.com website: http://www.vw.com/gti/
MSN also calls the GTI the "Volkswagen GTI" not the "Golf GTI": http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/overv ... &model=GTI

How can you be this fucking stupid and still operate a computer? See, this is the difference between you and me: You read "Golf" and "GTI" on a website, and I've fucking driven a Golf GTI.ToxicBug wrote:Look, Golf and GTI are separate cars on vw.com website: http://www.vw.com/gti/
