I don't think people are idiots for believing something that helps them get through tough times.

But I do have a big problem with people who insist that, since they have been "saved," they obviously have the best solution for everyone.

In short, I hate any dickhead who practices unsolicited preaching. Beyond that, I couldn't give two shits who the real god is, or what the 'true' meaning to life is. I have my own reasons for wanting a rich and full life, and your reasons aren't any better than mine just because you had some kind of epiphany that someone else talked you into.

Kracus, you really are hopeless. I answered your question on why I believe but you ignored it because it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear. There is nothing about what you've said that is trying to establish a logical conversation and you consistently try to force your beliefs on anyone who disagrees. An example of this is saying that anyone who believes in a higher power is "brainwashed". Right there you have stated your ignorance and unwillingness to see anyone's point of view and reaffirmed that yours is the only belief that could possibly be right.

You get called down in almost every thread you post in because of your meaningless drivel and unwillingness to educate yourself on any subject you discuss. Your "thoughts" only carry weight in your own hazy and stoned mind.

Agnostics don't believe in a God because there's no evidence to prove his existence, assuming that God made himself known, and started performing miricles and shit, an agnostic would then accept that there is a God and worship it. An athiest wouldn't, they'de denounce whatever God appeared and claim it was a weather balloon, or static energy or whatever.

A. Same reason I can't prove many fictional characters don't exist. Prove to me star wars really didn't happen in a galaxy far far away a long long time ago. It's a pointless unawnserable question and only proves that since god has never shown any evidence of existance in this universe that man has created god. Even if god does exist man has done nothing but guess it's existance and it's potential and it's interest in us as human beings. It seems like a very large assumption to me.
