is there a way to 'right click' without having to use ctrl + click?

On occasion... which is what makes the mighty mouse the worst mouse ever made. Jonathan Ive should have himself killed for that one.

Mighty mouse is utter shit DB.
You want to right-click?
Okay, just lift your left finger completely off of the mouse first, otherwise the right-click is interpreted as a left click.
What a fantastically crap piece of design from the supposed kings of said.

Oh, and if you don't disable it, by default the slightest squeeze of the mouse brings up one of Apple's completely useless window/app switching features, exposé.
So if you like to grip the mouse when you lift it to reposition it, you wind up in that piece of shit.

I'd like to contend that a lot of supposed interface improvements that Apple have implemented in OSX come from pandering to lazy users who don't keep their applications organised, opening multiple windows in one application, then flittering off when they lose their concentration and proceeding to do the same in the next application.

That's why you need exposé: so you stand a snowball's chance in hell of finding the window you were working in 5 minutes ago before you got distracted by something shiny, silver and looking like a cheesegrater... wait, that's your Mac...

I'm really just playing Devil's advocate here as many of you lot will remember I used to own a Mac, but really, while from a pure nerd perspective Apple are getting many things right, they're also getting a shitload wrong from a UI point of view.

Don't even get me started on the dock.

How old is your MM db? I've had two and they've both ended up the same. The wheels go bad and the right click often registers as a left. They start out good, but go down hill quickly. The grip thing isn't bad IMO, but sometimes they get kind of stuck so even the slightest bump will cause them to click.

How so DB?
You denying that what I said about the mighty mouse is true?

The other stuff is just personal opinion and mostly for a laugh, but the mighty mouse stuff is all accurate.

I've got about 8 and they all work perfectly.
Exposé is among the best tools i've used on a computer, it makes using adobe, office, safari and colour management stuff a breeze. Spaces just adds to it.

What, so you're saying you don't have to lift your left finger when you want to right-click?
That's odd, because every single one I've used, almost always fresh out of the box on a new install, has had this "feature".
