I forgot about how many different flavors of retard there are out there. I was playing CoD4 last night, jumped on a "Tactical Realism" server, and was immediately told to "stop running and stop trying to 'wall' people".
WTF? Oh god, running in combat is horribly unrealistic, as is shooting someone through a wall that you KNOW they're hiding behind. Retards.

this is one bonus of IWnet in general.. no one can say 'you cant do that'

but i have done some games with a party of 8 where we took over a 3rd person team tactical (4v4) and made up our own rules like knife only or pistol only. it was the most fun i've had playing the game...and i know i'm not fun to play with lol

So I play a game of team deathmatch on highrise and because I know where the initial spawns are and trap them there, I go 7-1 in the first 30 second of the game, every claims HAKRRRRR U HAKC then i continue to rape. tdm is gay, ffa is where it's at

Played some last night with DM and another friend. I gotta say, this care package hack makes the game completely frustrating and unplayable when you're in a game where people are using it.

Nothing quite like having 3 helicopters and 3 harrier strikes constantly hammering the map, and getting blasted 2 seconds after you spawn or walk out of a building.

It is fucking shite. I hate it

no. when I finish a tdm game with an overall k/d of 4:1 and the rest of the team is either negative or almost even, it's fucking dumb.

honestly, the more I read about this game now that it's been out for a while, the happier I am that I resisted the initial urge to buy it. Haha, to be honest, most of you guys don't do a good job of selling it in this thread - andyman, you complain about the game more than anybody yet play the most(?). It's not just here though, I've been reading and hearing lots of complaints everywhere...it just doesn't sound like fun. Any game I would have to play with people forgetting that it's-just that, a game, I will gladly pass on.

edit: I also don't like multiplayer games that reward the player for playing longer than others. If I played somebody who plays 20-30 hours more per week than I do, I would expect them to beat me from pure experience, but not because the game actually rewards them for time spent. Good multiplayer games don't need to do that...anyone remember q3?

I'll stick with TF2.
