That's what makes it great though. Isn't that believable? Would you want to be throwing fire bombs with your dog nearby?

Game-breaking bugs, muddy character faces, stiff lip-synching and animations, erratic AI, unevolved combat system, generic story, perfunctory base-building, obligatory fetch/kill side-quests... 10/10!

So glad I didn't pre-order.

He'll ya, can't wait to play.

So glad I can have fun with these games instead of nit-picking it to pieces. I feel really lucky...

Yeah, I wish my standards were lower, I'd be able to enjoy so many more games. :(

No big deal. You are in the minority though, considering how many people enjoy the Fallout and Elder Scroll games...

I enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion. I even played Skyrim with a bunch of mods for a while. But it's 2015 and Fallout 4 looks like Fallout 3 GOTY Edition. I give indie devs a pass on shit because of their lack of budget and small size, but the bar is much higher for an institution like Bethesda.

It's ok if you can't afford it...

Skyrim was pretty cutting edge upon release. Everything else Transient said is true. I watched some streams for a while waiting to be impressed. Good thing Battlefront is out next week.

Yeah, the open world and mod support had me playing a lot longer than I would have otherwise.

I don't know. I guess when your games are vastly more enjoyable than most and have hundreds of hours of content, I'm willing to let a few things slide...

Hundreds of hours of player-made content, maybe. It's why I played Skyrim as long as I did.

I can't tell if you're trolling or if you're really a Bethesda fanboi. Can you honestly say from that trailer that Fallout 4 offers anything particularly impressive compared to the rest of the AAA titles that have come out in the last few years? It looks like a holdover from the last console generation, IMO.

If you're willing to pay for Battlefront but not Fallout 4 then you're a cunt.

I figured I'd get it cause I'm not a pooron. It's ok, like other fallout games. Something about it is pretty fun though and it does feel and look better than the old games. I'll sink a few hours in it for sure.

I am old and sad because I have Witcher 3 and MGS V and only played both about 10 hours each. DOTA 2 with friends remains much more interesting than a game with complex mechanics and controls that I need to re-acclimate to after every week off. I hope Fallout 4 will be different since it's got pretty simple gameplay and I can save/load at the drop of a hat.

The main selling point for Jim Sterling (and Lawll, I imagine) seems to be that you can fuck anything and anyone in the game without anyone giving a shit.

Fucking buggy as shit tho had to position myself between an ai and an old broken car cause he kept getting stuck on the car. Couldn't continue the game without him reaching a certain point. Reloaded and forced him around by getting in his way. The ai can avoid me but not a gigantic car.

How the fuck can people play this game on a controller? I was trying for the first two hours but after dying due to wrestling with the controls a few times I gave up and used mouse and keyboard. It's so much faster and more intuitive (especially navigating the pip boy) that I can't understand why anyone would put up with a controller here.
