the crosshairs are FIXED in the center of the screen. whne you aim around your entire screen shifts, with the crosshairs still in the center.... that's a fucking FPS.

I'm now totally convinced , your "game insider" ego cannot allow you to have a proper conversation of value on the subject what so ever.

Nevertheless yes, FoV is inconsequential in 3rd person.
Not inconsequential, just not as much of a big deal as 1st person. Mass Effect 3 default fov is 70 and because the camera is static/centered, your eyes treat it a bit like a FPS. I was trying it last night and a 90 FOV is much more comfortable for me, especially in combat.

Cut scenes are affected, because of the DOF post-processing they use. I just press the numpad_1 key and it returns to default and fixes it though.

You need to go to the Citadel Embassies and then enter the Office Suites.

I'm playing it on hardcore as vanguard. too early to tell, but it's ok...the AI seems pretty good too, and so are the graphics, but there is definitely some serious ninja-style, polygon limiting, design choices going on. It's noticeable, but on the other hand, I haven't upgraded my system in over 2 years and I'm maxing out the graphic options...LONG LIVE CONSOLE LIMITATIONS!

for example, noticed how much more limited your view area is on the citadel? I remember on ME1 you could roam around wide open areas, and your visibility was vast in comparison. they have put alot of detail on player models but through design choices, the architecture of the surroundings are very simple and clean-flat panel based. And when you are in any room in the citadel, your window view is pushed further out by having some kind of inaccessible balcony (thus greatly limiting the visibility of the exterior)

The presidium commons still have a pretty good view distance. I do miss how massive the ME1 citadel felt in comparison, but at least it's easier to get to the locations you want now. In general though, the universe looks much better. Lighting and character models especially. Textures seem better too.

The game itself is brilliant. It's amazing how much attention they put into "secondary" characters that could have easily died in ME1/2. Mordin's dialogue especially. Glad I replayed ME2 to save him after I let him die on my first playthrough 2 years ago.

Anyone else noticed the spot to the right of Joker in the Normandy than glitches the player if he stands in it? I've had to reload save data a few times now because I get stuck. Pro.

lol...so you repeatedly step into an area that you know will fuck up your gameplay and force you to reload?

BTW...an NPC character is supposed to sit there, so your player entity is prolly fucking up attachment dealios.

:olo: honestly, after the third time the game should just delete your savegame and ip ban your origin account.
